Remarkably, for me, I celebrate ten years at CIAT on 1 August this year and since joining the team at Central Office, there have been many changes! One recent change is that I now have an Assistant and her name is Vivien Macdona. Vivien is here on a six month cover and a warm, and belated, welcome to her! I write this after a busy few days at the Ecobuild exhibition. This show has grown every year since its inception and it is definitely a staple in CIAT's calendar. It is great to meet members from across the grades at these shows and to also promote the Architectural Technology discipline, the work of members and the Institute. The President, Barry Le Beuvant, has been a busy man and I'm proud to include the first of his newsletters in this issue which I hope you will read with interest.
