Welcome to the first edition of our new look Range International magazine. Last year many of you took part in the Range reader survey. Based on the results of this survey we have come up with a completely new and fresh magazine - one that is tailored as much as possible to what you as readers want. The new magazine is more compact, but still allows us plenty of space to look at issues from your perspective and follow developments in our market( s). Issues in the field of sustainability, innovation and diversity, for example. We are also keeping pace with our increasingly digital age. In front of you is a digital magazine, with all its additional benefits in the form of links and films. And if you would like even more information or want to find out the technical background to a particular issue, you will find further reading on our website www. royalhaskoning. com. Sending out the magazine in digital format is our preferred option, due to the importance we attach to corporate social responsibility. We are living in a time that calls for creativity and new solutions, with sustainability and economic feasibility playing a significant role in projects. These are the kinds of projects we will focus on in Range International. In this edition you can therefore read more about the Hague University of Applied Sciences in Delft, our innovative sustainable concept for the Port of Hamburg that has been awarded first prize and our work for the BritNed Interconnector, an innovative development to link electricity supply between the UK and the Netherlands. We are extremely grateful for the confidence you have placed in us and hope to be of service once again by developing new and effective total solutions - for you and with you. As always, our focus will be on finding sustainable solutions for people and the environment. We look forward to working with you and wish you all prosperity, health and success!
