THE SCRIPTSThe author's delightful characters and the stories they populate, are clearly successful on the High Street and very much at home in the eyes of young children. A proposal for television is a commitment to allow the printed page to take on new life and embrace the screen. Only the best TV writing is acceptable for the project, and the author is proud to attach top fi lm-maker and screenwriter Merlin Ward, whose brilliant work on the BBC's global sensation Chuggington, is top gun in animation screenwriting. Already working with the author on her other TV packages, Ward's gentle humour and easy rhythm compliments and enhances the pitch of fun and learning through comforting themes. As advised earlier in the proposal, the author has created a very substantial bank of story outlines for a TV series, and Merlin Ward is the power behind the pen that will deliver Wizzy-Woo and his fabulous friends to the world of animation.
