Awards and AccreditationsThe beautiful locations of our sites areimportant to us and to our campers, sowe are committed to maintaining andprotecting them for future generations.To assist us in our efforts, our sites areassessed annually and we are awardedthe following accreditations:David Bellamy Conservation Awardsare presented to holiday parks thatmanage their land to encouragewildlife; are energy efficient; recyclewaste; and support local communities.Fourteen Forest Holiday Caravan andCamping Sites have been entered inthe 2010 awards and we are proud that12 of them have received a Gold Awardwhile two have achieved silver.We are pleased to announce that oursite at Ardgartan has been chosen toreceive an Award of SpecialDistinction- the second year runningthat one of our sites has been chosenfor this prestigious Award. Awards ofSpecial Distinction are presented tothose parks that have particularlyinnovative environmental projects aswell as highlighting new ideas thatothers can learn from.The Green Tourism Business Schemeis the only certification schemevalidated by Visit Britain and this yearwill be our fourth season working withthem.
