All about brassware and heating...74pure elementsBrassware DesignYour choice of taps will certainly be part of your chosen scheme and can be a very important statement for your bathroom. From traditional cross head taps to state of the art design, with 19 ranges to choose from we are sure you will find a style that suits you.Go with the flowUK water pressure varies from home to home. To ensure the correct choice you need to ensure that your chosen taps are compatible with your plumbing system. Remember you can always buy a suitable booster pump to increase your water pressure.Look out for the below symbols on the following pages, they will help you see the brassware's most important features across the range at a glance. Ceramic Disc Cartridge A simple device that improves the performance of your tap and gives it a longer life. Cartridge Technology Single lever cartridge allows easy adjustment of water flow. Moving the lever back controls the flow whilst moving the lever left and right controls the temperature. Quarter Turn This range of taps can turn on and off with a quarter turn mechanism for ease of action and on/off flow. Compression Valve Compression valves require several full turns to open the valves fully. Traditionally found on kitchen taps or classic style taps. Solid Brass Body This range of taps are made with a quality solid brass body. High Pressure Works on a minimum pressure of 0.5 bar or above. Please note all 3, 4 and 5 hole bath sets work from a minimum of 1.0 bar. Low Pressure Works on a minimum pressure of 0.2 bar or above.Heating Enjoy dry warm towels and heat up your room too with our stylish radiators. Whatever the size, whatever the style, we have a solution for you. Long gone are conventional radiators in bathrooms; choose from ladder styles to a work of art which look more like a picture than a radiator. Designed for use with central heating systems or via electric with the option of an element kit, they make an impact in your bathroom.Tested to EN442 standard guarantees the finest quality.Look out for the below symbols on the following pages, they will help you choose the best radiator to suit you. Central Heating The benefit of this type of installation is that it is economical to run when the central heating is on. Suitable for use with indirect central heating systems (your plumber/installer will be able to advise the type of system you have). The radiator is fitted to your central heating system and works alongside your existing radiators. Electric The benefit of this type of installation is that the radiator can be installed almost anywhere and does not require any pipework. It has the added versatility of being able to be turned on and off whenever required, regardless whether the rest of your central heating is on. An electrical element kit (see page 93) with a fused spur is required and wired to your electricity supply. The electrical element is screwed directly into the radiator and heats the water. Dual Fuel The best of both worlds! This type of installation is plumbed with indirect central heating systems and or your electrical supply. This guarantees the low cost of a central heating system during the winter whilst ensuring the versatility of being switched on and off independently during the summer months.Central Heating, Electric or Both - The Choice is Yours!Under Floor HeatingFor a more minimalist look, keep warm and discover the luxury of stepping onto a cosy warm floor with undertile heating which has fast become affordable and easy to install.CHDFE
